[ This sort of thing always came as an expected thing for what he was, but it didn't prepare him for it in the slightest.
Pain was bitter, sharp and left Roxas reeling more than he wanted to admit. He was something of an unusual vampire, as that was what got him into this situation to start with but he didn't regret it. Considering there was a LOT of things he knew he could never take back, protecting one of his friends from an attack would never be one of them.
However, he had underestimated his enemy and hadn't been fast enough to dodge every attack.
That was why there was quite the sizable gash in his left side and another, less severe one on his right thigh. Roxas clutched at his side and used the other to brace against the alley wall for support, occasionally leaving bloody smears along the dirty, worn brick. He was in no fit state to go and get any sort of food and his phone was dead, so he couldn't text Xion and see if she was safe.
Everything about this was bad, as he was leaving a blood trail and the chance that the enemy that caused this was going to find him and finish the job was pretty high. He didn't even wanna think about the idea that any hunters could come across his injured self all the same, so while he could fight? There wasn't much strength left in him.
So after a few more steps, Roxas shook his head and moved to slump against the wall and slunk down until he was sitting on the ground. Looking no more than some seventeen year old kid, dressed in a short sleeved black shirt with a longer sleeved shirt underneath emblazoned with a checkered design. His pants were a pair of light, faded jeans and some worn sneakers, all of which drew attention to the bright, gravity-defying spiky blond hair and blue eyes that most knew him for.
If anyone didn't know better - and most didn't - he was able to pass for a normal teenager. Though he hadn't been one for a good couple centuries now. ]
Heh. If I die here... I wonder how mad Axel's gonna be after...
[ He closed his eyes, head resting against the wall. Nothing much was going to be done about this as it was. There was no strength left in him. Not with those two injuries and the blood he'd lost already. ]

That way!
[He moved with speedy care, keeping an eye out. This hunter certainly seemed younger than most, and though he was dressed in reds and blacks he seemed cheerier than the usual dour, doom-and-gloom sort. Tracking vampires down could certainly take it out of a person, but it wasn't about the game for this one, it was about the result. Helping others. And somewhere out there someone- something? -might need that help.
He just hoped he could get there in time. There was quite a lot of blood on this trail...]
